Hrithik Roshan to star in Karan Johar’s next on India spymaster RN Kao?

Karan Johar recently announced his next film under his home production. The film will be an adaptation of Nitin Gokhale’s book R.N. Kao: Gentleman Spymaster. However, no other details were disclosed.

Now, according to reports, Hrithik Roshan has been approached for the titular role of RN Kao. While the actor has reportedly shown in interest in the project, he is yet to sign the dotted lines.

The film is the story of an Indian spymaster named Rameshwar Nath Kao who founded India’s external intelligence agency R&AW. The movie will reportedly showcase his successful journey in the world of international espionage.

Taking to his Twitter handle, Karan shared the announcement of the film with his fans. He wrote, ‘Turning pages into frames, one thrill at a time.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Hrithik will next be seen in Farah Khan’s ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake. However, there has been no official announcement of the same yet.

Rumour mills are also abuzz that Hrithik and Akshay Kumar have been approached to play crucial parts in a Mythological drama which is being planned on a massive scale.

Karan Johar, on the other hand, will be taking over the reins of direction with his upcoming magnum opus, ‘Takht’. The movie boasts of an ensemble star cast which include, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
