‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’: Alia Bhatt starrer becomes Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s fastest ever film to be released in just nine months

Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is all set to win the hearts of the audiences yet again as she has collaborated with the ace director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. This is for the first time the duo will be seen coming for a film together.

Before ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, they were supposed to unite for ‘Inshallah’ which also starred Salman Khan. But due to some uncalled issues, the film is now shelved.

Bhansali announced his next in the month of October 2019 and since then, there’s a lot of excitement amongst the fans. Today, the first look posters of the film have been unveiled featuring Alia and they have already managed to garner praises on social media. Well, this is the first ever that a SLB film will be shot and released at this speed. The film went on floors in the last week of December 2019 and it will be released within 9 months.

Reports say that this will be his fastest film ever. Bhansali usually takes long time to complete his films. Even his film ‘Devdas’ took a very long time due to several issues. But with ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, he is going too fast as he wants to release it this year because ‘Inshallah’ didn’t work out. It is being said that he wanted to enjoy a solo release, hence he took this decision and not to offend any of his actors by doing this.
