Akshay Kumar Announces His Next ‘Durgavati’ With Bhumi Pednekar

Akshay Kumar just a while ago treated us with a breaking news and we can’t keep calm! The Housefull 4 actor has roped in Bhumi Pednekar for his project and released a picture, providing all the details regarding it. Below is all you need to know about it.

To break millions of hearts, first of all, Akshay will not be a part of the movie, but will only be presenting the project. The movie will witness Bhumi Pednekar in and as Durgavati, in the film which is going to be a scary thriller. Moreover, the project is going on floors in January 2020.

While Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series will be presenting the project, Ashok will be donning the director cap along with Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment bankrolling it.

Akshay took to twitter and made the big announcement with the caption, “EXCITED to announce @bhumipednekar in & as #DURGAVATI. A scary-thriller, going on floor mid-January. Presented by #CapeOfGoodFilms and @itsBhushanKumar, produced by @vikramix and directed by Ashok. Need your love and luck @TSeries @Abundantia_Ent”

Along with the post, a picture was shared with the entire team of makers, posing with a happy picture alongside Bhumi who can be seen sitting in middle. Each of them are holding placards of their respective roles in the movie. With Bhumi wearing a saree, we wonder if that’s going to be her look as Durgavati!

Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar is literally on a roll with multiple biggies in her kitty. She previously delivered hits with Bala and Saand Ki Aankh earlier this year. Her upcoming release, Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday is slated for a release next week.

Bhumi also has Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship with Vicky Kaushal, Takht amongst others in the pipeline.
