Shivaay Movie Review: Ajay Devgn with an interesting concept is back with his production unit. This is the highest budget film which makes it more interesting to pick this flick for a watch. There were many sequences where the movie was shot in foreign locations like Bulgaria and Mussoorie. The rest was shot in Hyderabad.
Shivaay Movie Review and Story Plot:
Shivaay is an action thriller film directed and produced by Ajay Devgn under his banner Ajay Devgn Films. It features Ajay Devgn, Sayyeshaa Saigal, and Erika Kaar in lead roles. Mithoon has composed the film’s score and soundtrack. British band The Vamps and composer Jasleen Royal are also a part of the music. Abigail Eames, Vir Das, Girish Karnad, Saurabh Shukla being a part of the had some good roles.
Ajay Devgn in an interview revealed the story but not the entire part of the film. It is a family film. The action is a backdrop, but basically it is an emotional drama where a man is pushed to destroy everything possible because somebody is trying to destroy him. We had actually read an article which had happened in real life and we were moved by it, and the film has been made on that thought process. We didn’t follow it, but it was an inspiration.
The character’s name is Shivaay and Shivaay is such a god who has all the elements in a normal human being. If you read about all the other gods, all of them are perfect. Shivaay is innocent, who consumes bhaang and does whatever every person does, makes mistakes, gets fooled and will destroy everything if he gets angry. If all these things are present in today’s human being and if it is used well, how will that be… It is a wholesome entertainer but along with that it has the thought of the characteristics of Shivaay. We search for strength outside, but it is inside us. If we try to find it ‘Har har mahadev’, every person is Mahadev.” This is what he told when asked about the story.
Coming to the movie review, the graphics which added the most part of the film is a little disappointing and will be a flaw for the movie. The high-end action will be a little disappointing with the family but overall a good movie to watch out for this Diwali.
Shivaay Movie Rating:
Shivaay Movie Rating : 4/5
Plus Points: Performances, Story, Music, BGM, Graphics, Action Scenes, Direction, Screenplay.
Shivaay Movie Critics Review
Review #Shivaay works big time and here’s why’
Very rarely do you come across Hindi films that marry form and content so beautifully. #Shivaay is cool, but beneath the sheen there’s substance too. Mounted on an extravagant scale, the film is a visual delight. The film travels from one breath-taking locale to another in those 16 reels, often making your jaw drop to your knees thanks to the sweeping impact it makes. #Shivaay is a hi-octane thriller and the thrills, stunts and pace — vital for any thriller to strike a chord — are sure to keep you on the edge from Scene A to Z.A film like #Shivaay raises the bar for Hindi films. If you’ve tasted the best. Shivaay is director Ajay Devgn’s finest effort so far. The execution of the subject is such, you just can’t help get transported to a world of make-believe. Ajay has handled a number of sequences with aplomb.
#Shivaay is peppered with good looking visual effects, besides a stylish d’cor/look. The action sequences as also the stunts do complete justice to the genre and the Indian audiences are bound to gasp with disbelief. Cinematography is impeccable. The camerawork can easily match international standards. Dialogues are wonderful. Costumes are upmarket. Good Story & Screenplay. #AjayDevgn gave One of the Best Performance of his Career. He Nailed it all the Way. He gave Award Worthy Performance. #SayeshaSaigal, #ErikaKaar, #AbigailEames also gave First Rate Performances. Good Acting by all Supporting Actors. Music by #Mithoon is Soulful.
In terms of business, #Shivaay is bound to create dhoom at the ticket window. It’s a box-office triumph all the way. Time for Ajay Devgn to pop champagne yet again this Diwali. BLOCKBUSTER!
