Here’s a good news for all you Akshay Kumar fans out there! Though the actor won’t play a major role in the prequel of Baby, buzz is that Akki will have a cameo in the movie, playing the character of a RAW Agent.
The movie will be directed by Shivam Nair and will be based on the story of female lead played by Taapsee Pannu. The flick will give a backstory about Taapsee’s character in Baby and Akki will be playing a key character in it.
Baby was always supposed to be a franchise, quoted a leading daily. Akshay and Neeraj wanted to do a sequel, but it could happen only if they had a solid script in hand. Neeraj, reportedly, discussed this role with Akshay when he was shooting for Rustom and he liked it and agreed to do the role.
Akshay is currently lined with release of Rustom which is slated to release on 12th August. He has even began with the shooting of Jolly LLB 2.
