Neerja has now emerged as a Blockbuster success. The film has already collected 75 crore in 36 days and the way it is going, the lifetime collections should be around 76 crore. The film’s landing cost is 21 crore (including Cost of Production and Print & Advertising) and it has already gained 11 crore through sales of various rights (satellite, music and the rest). It needed to recover the remaining 10 crore through theatrical business and with 76 crore coming in just from India, the film has more than multiplied its revenue.
The film has entered 6th week on select screens and it would be interesting to see if it goes on to celebrate 50 days at the Box Office.
